A good cream soup made from scratch takes too much time in the kitchen. That's why Gage has developed Deluxe Cream Soup Base. Just add water and you'll have a great creamy base to build a classic cream soup. Make a Cream of Turkey or Cream of Ham Soup using BONUS COMMODITY HAM and TURKEY ROASTS!




Basic Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 #10 can Gage Deluxe Cream Soup Base
  • 2 gallons Water

Basic Recipe Directions:
STOVETOP METHOD:

  1. In suitable container, bring 2 gallons water to boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low, add contents of one can and stir thoroughly with a wire whip until product comes back to a boil.
  3. Add remaining ingredients such as vegetables, potatoes, clams, etc (3 to 4 lbs).
  4. Simmer (do not boil) until vegetables or other additives are full flavor (30-60 minutes).
Yields approximately 4 gallons, depending on amount of vegetables and other ingredients added.
