Just like our Classic Banana Bread but with Whole Grain! Simply add water and eggs for a deluxe banana bread that's great for breakfast, as a snack, for lunch, or for dinner. Add nuts and additional bananas for an even more decadent experience.




Basic Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 #10 can Gage Banana Bread Mix
  • 10 Eggs
  • 1 qt Water
  • 6 Crushed Bananas (optional)

  • Basic Recipe Directions:
    OVEN METHOD:

    1. Add contents of can, eggs, and water to a suitable mixing bowl. (If desired, you may add in 5 or 6 crushed bananas for extra richness.)
    2. Mix on low speed approximately 30 seconds with paddle. Scrape down bowl. Mix 30 seconds more.
    3. Pour batter into 1 greased and floured half pan or 5 greased and floured loaf pans.
    4. Bake in a 350¦ oven for approximately 50 minutes.

    Ingredient Statement:
    Stone ground whole wheat flour, sugar, Enriched wheat flour, partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oils, nonfat dry milk, leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, monosodium phosphate and sodium bicarbonate), dehydrated banana, salt, natural and artificial flavors, caramel color, and spice.
