Basic Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 #2.5 can Gage Jelly Base
  • 6 qts Water
  • 15 lbs Sugar

Basic Recipe Directions:
DIRECTIONS:

  1. Bring 6 qts water to a rolling boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in contents of can with a wire whip, making sure all particles are dissolved.
  3. Return to heat and bring to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat and add sugar, stirring until completely dissolved. Skim off any foam that may appear.
  5. Pour into storage container or serving dishes and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
