Do something different! Santa Fe Pasta is a flavorful combination of gemelli noodles and a creamy Santa Fe cheddar cheese sauce. Works well with ground beef, chicken, black beans, even BONUS COMMODITY TURKEY ROASTS, SHREDDED CHEESES, AND NORTHERN BEANS! Great as a main entree, a la carte, or as a part of you Mexican themed service stations.





Basic Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 #10 can Gage Santa Fe Pasta
  • 5 lbs Cooked and Drained Ground Beef
  • 3 1/4 qts Boiling water
  • 1 #10 can Diced Tomatoes or Tomato Puree
  • 2 lbs Shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese

Basic Recipe Directions:
OVEN METHOD:

  1. Combine contents of Santa Fe Pasta, tomatoes, cooked ground beef, and boiling water in full size deep steam table pan.
  2. Bake in a pre-heated 400¦F oven for 20-35 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
  3. Top with cheese and return to oven to allow cheese to melt (if desired).
  4. Let stand 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
