A great Mexican dish! Use as a side, entree, or as a part of your Mexican themed salad bars or service stations.




Basic Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 #2.5 can Gage Cheesy Mexican Rice Spice
  • 8 oz Butter or Margarine
  • 6 1/2 qts Water
  • 3 1/2 lbs White Rice
  • 6 1/2 lbs Cooked Fajita Meat or Diced Chicken
  • 2 lbs Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Basic Recipe Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except cheese in a suitable container.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring occassionally.
  3. Once boiling, transfer to a steamtable pan, cover with foil, and bake in a 400¦ oven for 25 minutes or until rice is done.
  4. Remove foil, stir gently, and sprinkle with cheese before serving.
