Basic Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 #10 can Gage Beef Pasta Mix
  • 5 lbs Cooked Ground Beef or Beef Crumbles
  • 8 fl oz Milk
  • 52 fl oz Cold Water
  • 16 oz Sour Cream

Basic Recipe Directions:

  1. In a suitable stock pot or steamkettle, combine cold water and milk and bring to a boil.
  2. Add contents of can, stir, and return to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta reaches desired consistency.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in ground beef and sour cream.
  5. Make sure entree is still at safe serving temperature (140¦ F) before transferring to serving pans.
