- 1 #10 can Gage Deluxe Cream Soup Base
- 2 gallons Water
Basic Recipe Directions:
STOVETOP METHOD:
- In suitable container, bring 2 gallons water to boil.
- Reduce heat to low, add contents of one can and stir thoroughly with a wire whip until product comes back to a boil.
- Add remaining ingredients such as vegetables, potatoes, clams, etc (3 to 4 lbs).
- Simmer (do not boil) until vegetables or other additives are full flavor (30-60 minutes).
Yields approximately 4 gallons, depending on amount of vegetables and other ingredients added.
