Basic Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 #10 can GageWhite Cake Base
- 4 lbs Sugar
- 8 oz All Purpose Flour
- 1.5 lbs shortening, butter, or margarine
- 9 cups Water
Basic Recipe Directions:
BAKE METHOD:
- Cream sugar and shortening in a mixing bowl.
- Add cake base and flour, then mix at low speed for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add water and mix at low speed to wet powders, scraping sides of bowl as needed.
- Spread batter into 2 greased and floured full sheet pans.
- Bake in a 350¦F oven for approximately 30-35 minutes or until done.
