Whether you do a lot of scratch cooking or like to make heat and serve dishes 'your own', the possibilities are endless with Gage's dehydrated minced onions. Our minced onions are shelf stable and finely diced to add just the right flavor and texture to your finished dishes.

Basic Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Gage Minced Onions
  • 7 pints Water

Basic Recipe Directions:

  1. To use Gage Minced Onions, simply cover with cold water and let soak 20 - 30 minutes (Use 7 pints water to 1 lb Minced Onion)

Note: If milder onion flavor is desired cover with boiling water and soak only 5 minutes.
Note: No pre-soaking is required when using in cooked dishes, such as soups, stews, sauces or wherever sufficient liquid is present.

1 tablespoon is equivalent to 1 medium raw onion. 1 cup is equivalent to 4 cups raw onion.
