Cheesy Chicken Ole
A great Mexican dish! Use as a side, entree, or as a part of your Mexican themed salad bars or service stations.
Basic Recipe Ingredients:
1 #2.5 can Gage Cheesy Mexican Rice Spice
8 oz Butter or Margarine
6 1/2 qts Water
3 1/2 lbs White Rice
6 1/2 lbs Cooked Fajita Meat or Diced Chicken
2 lbs Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Basic Recipe Directions:
Combine all ingredients except cheese in a suitable container.
Bring to a boil, stirring occassionally.
Once boiling, transfer to a steamtable pan, cover with foil, and bake in a 400¦ oven for 25 minutes or until rice is done.
Remove foil, stir gently, and sprinkle with cheese before serving.
